Amen.  Even my father spoke like that at times, and I always respected the thought and sincerity that went into his statements.  Thank you for sharing.

People write less today, have less experience with putting thoughts on paper, etc.Public oratory, etc is not what it was in the past, either. Everything being written by ghostwriters and teams of people and the speech giver reads the words off the teleprompter. Can you imagine Lincoln relying on a ghostwriter for the Gettysburg Address?
