A friend of mine wants to get an AR but wants one a bit stronger than the 5.56 so I suggested 6.8. I know Barret makes them who else?

Model 1 makes them, couldn't tell you about their quality.

If he gets the Barrett tell him to be ready to drop well over 2 grand.

I'm stumped why people post questions like this in General Discussion.

In addition Bravo Company and Barrett sell 6.8mm uppers. The ammo is still tough to find, though that may be changing in the next 6 months. Personally I would not recommend a 6.8mm as a first AR to someone.
