Ok.  Yesterday I get a call on my cell phone.  I try to answer it, and, I can't.

That's not odd, as I'm in bum-screw MS in the middle of nowhere and, often drop calls.

I tried to call the number back.

It says "This number not in service or disconnected....etc."

I shrug, think nothing of it, and, go about my biz.

Just a few minutes ago, the same number calls.

I try to answer-  Call drops.

I try to call- Same message.

I looked at my missed calls menu, and, apparently the same number called last PM as well,
when I was watching the playoffs.

The area code the number is using is in the Tampa Bay, FL area.

To my knowledge, I don't know anyone there.

WTF, over?

Anyone had this happen?

WTF is going on?

Some calling cards do that.

Try a reverse look up on Switchboard.com

Seriously, though, calling cards and telemarketers do that.I had a number show up a couple months ago on my cell as 000-000-0000..

I've had sales people call me with these funny numbers-seems like they don't want US calling THEM back

I have had repeated drunk phonecalls from all over. They usually stop once they realize that you are not the person they are trying to reach.

"You have the wrong number."

"¿Que? ¿Que? ¿Que? ¿Qu...."

"¡Wrongo numero, asshat sombrero del nalga!"

"¿¿¿Que???"
