Actually, I have it on good authority that someone used a 1911 with a round low profile front sight. I'm not going into details but the firing pin, spring and retaining plate were removed for safety. No damage was done and a good time was had by all. The pistol required a very thorough cleaning afterwards. No pictures but she was a cute redhead and looked a lot like Gillian Anderson from X-Files. Lots of fantasies got realized during that time frame. I sure do miss her. And yes, she loved shooting and could handle a Benelli M1S90, CAR15, 1911 and the USP45 very well. |
