The recent pot roast thread had me craving some, so I whipped up a roast today.
This is a 2lb rump roast that was floured and browned this morning and tossed in the pot with some potatoes, carrots, onions and one cup of beef broth.  Here it is when I got home from work, about 10hrs later.  It came out pretty well. It's probably a bit overdone and could have used a couple hours less in the pot, but still quite tasty. Accompanying me is my Glock 36 and CRKT M16.  |
