i find that it's because i generally have very little faith in the common man, yet i only want what's best fo him/her.

I blame it on all the gun laws. I'd be a much nicer person if I didn't have to be so damn paranoid about being locked up for the rest of my life for crossing the wrong state border accidentally with something that's perfectly legal and would likely earn me a compliment from a LEO if stopped on the right side of the state border. All these BS laws started in 1934 when my dad was born, and I think being a second generation repressed person makes me a prick.

I guess I am cosidered a 'prick'by so many because of the 'environment'I was brought up in.Surrounded by people who hate guns,but love handouts from the Gov. using who's money?I guess I am a prick.

Because I am sick and tired of working every day of my life to indirectly feed, house, and clothe a multitude of dead beat projects dwellers! That, and the fact that you seem to get results in the workplace when you kick your attitude up a notch. [:(!] Not all subordinates require this type of interaction to motivate them. For the self motivated guys, I take care of them if they take care of me. [^] My level of "prickiness" seems to default to the necessary level in any given situation.

Seriously, though, there are some people on this board with absolutely [b]NO[/b] sense of humor or the absurd. Irony and sarcasm completely misses them. WAY too serious. Why is that? Good question.

Because I can't stop myself from pointing out absurdities. The letters editor in my local rag really knows who I am.

Is 'the prick' still here? Very much in evidence when the Kursk sank. Don't recall his username but I DO remember his rabid hatred of all things Russian.
