lonestartimes.com/2005/10/05/berger-broke-probation-after-two-days/

Sandy Berger, the guy who thought he could get away with jamming classified documents in his pants, was busted. Again:

Two days after he was placed on probation last month for taking classified documents, former national security adviser Sandy Berger was accused of reckless driving in Virginia by police who said he was traveling 88 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone.

Hmmm,  isn't one of the conditions to probation usually, "obey all laws"??

I'm not on probation and I didn't sneak out of the National Archives with papers in my drawers.

He'll get off virtually scott-free again.

It was Bush's fault.

Actually I can honestly say that I have never gone 20+ miles over the speed limit while on probation

For stealing and destroying top secret documents

If I got a ticket for 81 in a 75 I would get fired from my job.

.... buy stuffing them down your pants and then "inadvertently" cutting the originals up with scissors and destroying them.

Sure everyone speeds, but going fast enough to qualify as "reckless" in VA (15 over, or 85 absolute, IIRC) is asking for trouble.

I got one for 51 in a 35 in my concert truck and not a word was said.

I had to piss framed by the man, and not on probation.

Yep.  And all of us can ask ourselves, "how would I have been sentenced had I committed the same crime he did?"  Contrast your answer to the sentence he got.
