Seems like there are less stations than AOL offers on AOL radio...

What's your take?

74 ~ Bluesville. Listen to it all the time when I don't have on Fox News or America Right, neither of which are available online due to syndication rights.

+1  My roommate has XM.   The songs they play are awful awful.   It isn't even disputable.  XM must alienate every country listener by not really giving any station a 'theme' but but obscure crap all over the board.

Sirius on the other hand knows what ppl. want to hear, pretty much the exact opposite of what is played on the radio.  Robert Earl Keen, George Jones, Highwaymen,  BR549, Charlie Pride, David Allen Coe, Hank Willaims 1,2, and definitly 3 all back to back.  The DJs know their stuff and what is going on.

Try getting that on 'highway 16' on XM XM is so damn gay, that you might as well listen to thr radio...oh wait isn't that the point of satelite radio? to get away from crappy music?  Don't waste money on XM

The Boneyard, XM41

Metal & Hairbands from the 80's and early 90's.  Personally, I think they have a pretty decent library of the stuff I listened to in HS.

I won't Poo Poo XM, my brother has it and he likes it, but do yourself a favor and try out the Sirius 3 day online trial as well.  You can only listen to the music channels, but you can browse online for the talk, etc they play.  After listening to XM from my brother and the 3 day Sirius, I got Sirius and then was doubly happy because they have NRA news, as well a G Gordon Liddy and Laura Ingraham.  Mike Church can be pretty damn entertaining as well.

*edit* BTW A Google search says the G man is on XM channel 152 from 1PM-4PM.

If so, 152 is not available on the internet. Anyone confirm 152 is available for real?

Get a channel listing from their website.

Because of the talk shows in syndication, you can't get them from either XM or Sirius online.  That's just how it works.
