It's been that way ever since "multi-culturalism" and "political-correctness" entered our lives ('bout 20 years). Liberals beat the drum of "tolerance" and to them it means that we will all accept their insane mutterings as fact and truth, while keeping our beliefs to ourselves. Amazing, its groups like this, supposedly "innocently" asking for tolerance and understanding, undermining historical and cultural symbols, getting recognition for their holidays, insinuating THEIR culture into others and making it dominant, and then waging an all out jihad against the host culture in order to usurp and transmogrify (I love Calvin & Hobbes) the culture into their own....

They also asked the British government to stop the official recognition of the Holocaust, which gives new meaning to the word "chutzpah". Apparently that offends them too, though it's hard to understand why. Maybe they just dont want any sympathy or guilt from the Europeans towards the Jews, lest it remind people why Israel was founded in the first place. Or maybe they just want less competition in the victimization game.

I may have to get a St. George flag when European Cup season hits. The only time I'll root for a foreign country is when the Brits are wiping the floor with other Euros.
