One of mine HAD to be when I was at my Bro's house. Was at the pond talking to his kids and telling them about how the Indians used to catch fish by putting their hand under the water, cupping it and wiggling the fingers slightly to attract them. I was demonstrating it on the dock and I'll be darned if a 10" fish didn't swim thru it and I caught it. I was DA MAN that day! When I left, all 5 boys still had their hands in the water trying to duplicate it. This was in late october in MI in a Artesian well fed pond, the water was COLD! I never did tell them it was blind luck. I remain to this day the coolest of the cool uncle.

Delivered my daughter. (not intentional just happened real fast)

Years ago I got to watch my father aerial refuel his fighter plane (A-7D) coming back from Alaska. The fishing up there wasn't that bad either.

Got my cherry popped by a smokin hot 22 year old blond, blue eyed, Swedish chick.

Delivered my daughter, well okay I caught her. Mom does all the hard work. It was planned, a very cool OB-GYN.

Getting laid. That's even cooler than most of the gun stuff that I've done.
|

That a one time thing? |

Ever fired a belt-fed? |

... Flying in high-performance jet helicopters, performing envelop-pushing maneuvers, with some of the most talented, experimental test pilots in the world - then drinking beers that evening with them in Vegas.

No, but it's been so long that my Johnson thinks I joined a monestary. |

Yep. Nothing like jumping out of a plane at almost 15,000 feet! |

was on my bike doing the burnout/ doughnut thing like on mad max, when the tire got traction and the bike took off without me, I'd let go and was standing there watching it with everyone else as it streaked through the parking lot, it traveled bout 100yrds before hitting a curb and flipping, walked over to it amongst the laughter and jeers, stood it up and it started, drove off all embarassed, had to buy a new front wheel and tire, lights to get it back to road worthyness, the cool part of the whole deal was that it didn't hit anyone in the crowded parking lot.

I made an amphibious landing in Antarctica wearing only a tuxedo.

+1 Crew bossed on a 3700 acre wildland fire in steep mountains. I was 19. Any time pushing in a good hot house fire. I'd do that any day of the week over shooting. |

Toss up between drag racing motorcycles and my job for the last 15 years.

Flying OH-58 helicopters and driving/gunning M1A1 tanks. Oh, and working in the Army Operations Center at the Pentagon during Operation Iraqi Freedom was pretty cool too.
|

Got to fly one of the Goodyear Blimps. Did a shark feeding dive....no cage.
|

Non-gun? Riding around in the turret of a HMMWV.
Gun related? Operating the m2 machine gun. |

You did FREEFALL?!!!!!!!!! |

Doing the wild thing about 5,000 feet up in the air above the Cook Inlet rates pretty high on my list. Wouldn't ever do it again though! Patty

I did a two week backpack trip through canyon lands Utah. I did it in the middle of February with no fire and no tent. That was really cool. Kind of tested my survival skills. Saw crazy big Mountain Lions and found some cool artifacts and ruins to boot.

I will post the pictures sometime. I will make a new thread for it since it is interesting enough. I also went swimming in -1 Celcius water off of the ship in Antarctica. That was refreshing. I also went skydiving in the middle of the Swiss Alps. |

On the same trip I beat the Chief Financial Officer of Arthur Anderson in a game of Monopoly.

The first time I landed an airplane without any assistance whatsoever from my instructor pilot.

Invented an electronic device that simultaneously stimulates the pudendal, hypogastric and pelvic nerve pathways in a woman...and headed the R&D that followed.

"I also went skydiving in the middle of the Swiss Alps."
"Invented an electronic device that simultaneously stimulates the pudendal, hypogastric and pelvic nerve pathways in a woman...and headed the R&D that followed." Now that's what we are talking about! "beat the Chief Financial Officer of Arthur Anderson in a game of Monopoly." It really does float to the top! (Chicago here!) |
|
No really. I did beat the CFO. His name is John D. Lewis and he was originally from South Africa. He had actually never played it before. It was on the return trip from Antarctica and a storm had made it pointless to go on deck. So we rounded up a game of Monopoly. |

Pretty tame, but I'm building a log home to retire in. I've been at it since April, 2001. I've had some help, but am doing most of it myself--ultra-insulated (heated it the last three winters with 155 gallons of LP!), electrical, plumbing, furnace ducts, all interior walls, finishing, some masonry work, etc. I'm enjoying it immensely.

I logged off ARFCOM and went outside. It was awesome, but I doubt I will ever do it again...

|
Got my pilot's license and immediately went on a 1200 mile cross country trip.
Stood at the top of Long's peak at 14,000+ feet in the raging winter wind, naked, hooting and hollering. |
