Is it possible to use the "nuclear option" to end judicial filibusters, and then turn around and re-instate the filibuster immediately after some good judges are appointed?  This way, we could get the judges we want NOW and then filibuster the next Dem President's nominees in the future.

In theory I supopose you could.  I would hope that a principled legislator would believe that a filibuster is either constitutional or not.  To use it as a tool of obstructionism is exactly why we are in this mess now.

I was half joking by making that suggestion.  I was just wondering if it could happen.
