Honorable mention.

I think we shouldn't have booked the cheapest vacation package.

Fourth Runner Up.

Here, let me help you with that.

Third Runner Up.

'FOUR' is often three too many and often too late.

Second Runner Up.

Low flying aircraft can be hazardous to your health, especially if you go skiing in Italy. No all accidents happen ON the slopes. Sometimes they happen above them.

First Runner Up.

Traveling in foreign countries is often more exciting than driving on American highways.

and.....................................the GRAND PRIZE WINNER!!!

Not all French are cowards. Some are just really really stupid. How do you say "hold my beer" in French?

Would have been a better photoshop if the guy was not holding a putter.

I never thought about it being a hotair ballon. When I saw the picture, the FIRST thing that popped in my mind was the Marine EA-6B a few years back that clipped the tension line and dropped the gondola full of skiers onto the rocks below.

It was just a joke. OK, it was even a tasteless joke at that.

I know it's not Italy. It was the only incident that I could remember where a military aircraft accidentally 'sank' a gondola full of dangerous skiers.

There was a guy a few months ago who was filming a commercial for some gen-x clothing company. He was supposed to base jump from the Eifel Tower. Only problem was that when he jumped, he snagged his chute on something which either tore it, or completely tore it off of him (I don't remember which).

Anyway, imagine the surprise of the tourist below when this guy hits the deck in front of them at 100mph. SPLAT!!!

You know what they say, it's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the end

Actually, the stop at the end isn't what kills you, its the realization that, yes, you ARE That Fucking Stupid

I had one of those moments going through Free Fall school. They AREN'T fun.

Pretty damned funny later, but they suck at the time. I only spent a month and a half in a military hospital as a result of mine!!

I damn near had a panic attack just looking at that first pic.  I had to start waving my arms in the air just so I knew I was free to move.
