I think I'll SBR my lower... right now it's wearing a 6 position collapsing stock and a 16" A4 upper with CAR length handguards...

There was a site called 9mmAR15.com that had some nice 9mm uppers... including one with about a 4" barrel or so...   A collapsing stock and one of those uppers, and you could conceal it under a coat pretty easily.  Put a can on it, and it would still be quite concealable!

Go for it!  You will never look back to regret it! Fun to shoot! AND if you are in the business that really uses a rifle for SHTF situations, an SBR will never be beat in terms of ease and manuverability of use inside a vehicle.
