To say that my alert level up is an understatement. We have turned the final corner and are sprinting towards the finish line of our year in Iraq. All we have left is Ramadan and the Referendum to do before we di di the hell out of here. I will do anything it takes to bring every single one of my soldiers home...anything.

Gonna bring a ham & pinapple pizza to work with me, gotta spend almost a whole month with this holiday. I am going to get fat eating all the pork I can in celebration.
I am sure I will see that video set to Enya 'Only Time' of the ROP embassadors flying airplanes into the WTC just to remind myself what a great group of people share this planet with me. Alert level no change, just waiting for the next group of embassadors to do something stupid again, good thing that there is still no profiling at the ports of entry. Not just Monday...next 28 days. Eat pork 5 times a day. Bacon and sausage for breakfast. Ham sandwiches for lunch, pork chops for supper. For snacks, Spam or pork rinds. Just surround yourself with pork and all the intolerant folks will keep their distance. Like they should.. |
