I keep accedently click and dragging the buttons and smilies into the text window and the value is dragged with it.

Click and hold on the submit button, and move your cursor to the text window, then release the mouse button.   You will see:

Did the buttons behave like this before the format change?

Not that I remember.. And im like a tard with my mouse, so I would of saw something in the past.

I think they did, but I don't drag them that often.
