WAit.  Are you looking for plastic model kits you build?  Or just dicast/plastic/resin/whatever display models?

Plastic model planes and helicopters that you build.

They've been around since at least the 60s.
IMHO, THE best place to get scale models and supplies.

The Squadron Shop

Awsome timing, I just finished taking a picture of some 1/72 scale models that I have been working on.   I plan on making a diorama with the german planes.

GreatModels Webstore

If you can't find it here, and cheap, you don't need it.  The search works really well.  I just scored the new Academy 1/32 F-16 for $60 on sale!  They have GREAT sales.

ETA: Squadron is good, too.

A cheap plug for a great aircraft modeling web site:

Aircraft Resource Center

Lots to explore and (usually) daily photos and articles.  The forum is good and there are lots of how-to articles and photo galleries.

Anigrand Craftswork

They have lots of kits you won't find anywhere else.  I am ordering a Martin XB-51 from them for my dad.  My great-uncle was part of the design team.
