The incident occured at the border crossing known as "MCT South" near Camp Navistar in Kuwait.

I am being told it involved at least one explosion and small arms fire.

It happened around 11:15a.m. local time this morning, but I haven't seen it being reported in the media anywhere yet.

I'll pass along more as I find out about it...

BTW- I know a few civilians(my friends and co-workers) who work on Camp Navistar...AND I've been through that checkpoint once before on a brief one kilometer "jaunt" over into Iraq..
