Oakland County Sheriffs Deptartment has a M113. Kinda neat to see a M113 with a police light bar on it.

After viewing their website, I have decided that I will one day buy one of those vehicles.
Absolutely badass. Holds 150 gallons of diesel good for 1050 miles of highway driving. Top speed is 63 mph. Amphibious. Armor. Gun ports. Outward looking thermal cameras with monitors in the control panel. Engine servicing and brake replacement is done from INSIDE the vehicle. It's the absolute ultimate SHTF vehicle. |

I like the turn indicators and rear-view mirrors. As if I am going to give a rat's ass if anybody's behind me while changing lanes in this thing!
