I read in another post here that 5.56 is better to get if one is building one's own AR because that round develops higher pressures than the 223 and you can shoot both 223 and 5.56 in the 5.56. Does that hold true with 7.62 vs 308?

.308 is actually higher pressure than 7.62x51

1) A sticky in the Ammo forum
2) A web site called the "Ammo Oracle"
3) A search engine that can find any web page on the planet by key word
