To America by Stephen Ambrose.

Loving this book.

About all the great men of this country and covers both the good and the bad points.

HONEST is the word that best describes it.

Hard to accept at times when discussing the less stellar points of men we natually revere and the good points of men we'd prefer to revile. And all points are factually supported.

But comprehensive tales of this nations great men and their wonderful accomplishments.

One of the most enjoyable works by Ambrose I have read so far.

Same here.  I really enjoy it.  It's one of the history books that doesn't feel like the authors are trying to convince me we should hate ourselves and be ashamed of our history.
