Earlier a call was put out to possibly find a replacement search engine, as some members were offended that Google would not accept gun-related advertising (not even reloading presses, etc.).  I just found out about a new search engine this morning due to an article at slashdot. (http://slashdot.org/articles/01/07/23/1241214.shtml)

Teoma.com (www.teoma.com) is running the beta of a search engine that is based on a similar premise to google.  It isn't necessarily permanent, but those who wanted the power of Google, but didn't want to support them might check out Teoma.

Cool thanks.

The fact that Google does not run gun-related info in their engine to avoid liability is ridiculous.  I would imagine that to further avoid liability, Google should not run swimming pool or automobile info as well.

God knows that someone who might look at a Google-generated list of cars might go out and kill someone with that car, then holding them accountable...
