Anyone with a Tivo get a screen shot of the pistol Sheperd had tonite?    Methinks it wasnt an M9 like before.    Looked like a 1911 from the .5 millisecond view they gave.    I wonder if they got tired of wraiths soaking up 9mms and coming back for more.......

Yeah, looked like a double stack 1911 to me too.

ETA:  FRom the glimpse I caught, the slide had front cocking serrationa a la Kimber, and the magazine was extra wide like a Para.

I saw them hand him a  1911 when he was in the wraith darts pilot seat.

Now if they'd just ditch the P90s and carry Springfield SOCOMs

.

That would be interesting to see. But Id like to see one of  them at least use a full-auto USAS-12.

To bad they couldnt salvage something from the war ship Aurora in the 1st episode. Damn and now we have to wait till January for new episodes.

I also believe it was a 1911 - don't know about double stack - looked like single stack to me.

On the Aurora, when he shot the Wraith that had been in stasis, it was definitely a double-stack.  Not sure about later, during the episode with Ford.

I think it was the second episode.   I taped em for the wife.   I'll have to review it and see if I can get a look at it.   I could have swore I saw a novak rear sight and a beavertail there.

You saw a high-profile Novak-type sight, beavertail and front cocking serrations.  And it was in BOTH episodes.  In the first episode, he shot the wraith with it.

I was getting ready for work, I'll have to rewatch em.
