legitimate reason to refuse pre-packed, sealed, NATO-standard British 24-hour ration packs, which, I might add, are in my experience generally pretty damn good? No, no possible
legitimate reason occurs to me. There might be one, but it certainly isn't obvious. Now, I bet there are some bureaucratically defensible reasons that they weren't distributed, but that certainly doesn't mean they make sense to real people.
Hell, even if there were some legitimate concerns about the rations, which I highly doubt, I would much rather see them distributed and have some refugees get sick rather than blatantly insult our closest friend and ally in the world.
