As of 8:50 Eastern, the realtime traffic map shows traffic moving at 50+

Is there maybe a problem with the map?

Last I heard is that traffic in Houston is moving pretty good.  But some of the evacuation routes are backed up out of town.

Wow, that is a ghost town.  I've been to Houston several times and there are never that few cars on the road.  Some pictures from those cameras have 0 cars on six-lane highways.

Traffic is moving as well as one would expect with zero gas in the city.

I was getting coffee at a little convenience store and a strandee just offered me 500 bucks for the gas in my truck.  I was sitting down to post that when I saw your post.

You have a locking gas cap? All truck down there should have one by now.

Take the money, and fill your truck from your extra gas in your Jerry cans
