You know, I though about retreating to Farmers Branch or Carrollton, but my house, here on the front lines of this storm in Dallas, can handle it.  Besides, Farmers Branch and Carrollton are dry.

Dallas is pretty far inland. You are probably looking at a Cat 1 or 2 event.

That is a bit different from those on the coast.

Dude, I was just trying to get someone to laugh.  I guess I'm the only who found humor in evacuating from Dallas to Farmers Branch or Carrollton.

Kinda like that cold snap we got here a while back. The overnight low must've gotten down to 85°.

Farmers Branch and Carollton are two bumfuck kinda suburbs do north of Dallas.

What a wus!  All you have to do is run across Beltline to get something to drink.  Of course, making it across that road on foot is probably more dangerous than a CAT 2 storm.
