Anybody seen this?  www.beowulf-movie.com/

I'm looking forward to its release.  That quasi-sci fi movie with Christopher Lambert sucked pretty bad.

Ever try to read it in the original old english?

Pain in the ass.  Its really almost a different language.

Should rock as long as they don't try to "20th centurize" it.

As a matter of fact I have.  It is a little tough at first but by the end I was used to it.  I hope they don't ruin the story with a half-assed movie.

"then hrothgar smited the wyrm with hrunting..."

didn't they already make a "beowulf"?  or wasn't The 13th Warrior some bastardization of it?
