Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Oilfield Employees...What are your thoughts on Hurricanes and the upcoming market?

In my office we have about 65 employees in my division. We were shorthanded before Katrina. We now have 10 people unassigned to jobs. Katrina hit land between N.O. and Mississippi. I heard 20 rigs damaged or destroyed and some production platforms. Now we have another Cat 5 Bitch Tear-assing ALL THE WAY across the gulf. Potential for tough times here. What do you think?
