I know, I know, Rita is supposed to hit Houston/Galveston and that's a long way from Dallas. But from what I'm hearing, a category 5 definately has the potential to trigger tornados this far north. We've also got alot of "refugees" up here from Katrina and there are alot of people evacuating the Houston area. It's my understanding that the "bad element" has a strong presence in Houston.

Besides, the Arfcom moto is "always be ready" (not to be confused with the Boy Scout motto)

The only way to truly be ready is to have a full 30 inserted, one in the chamber, safety off, in the ready position.

Commence neighborhood patrols ASAP .

No, I have 3. 2 A2's Carbinensteins and 1 A3 Bushmaster.

Any of them are more than I need for you! (j/k)

At the rate we are going tonight. that might not be a bad idea. We have a cat 5 hurricane zeroing in on TX, an airplane carrying 150+ passengers that's circling LAX trying to land with the front gear locked sideways and tornadoes hitting Minneapolis. One calamity after another.

My prayers are out for the coast of Texas tonight.  It seems to be a great state.  Maybe it's time to get out on NC and become a Texan (if I would be allowed).
