Kinda thinking about one of these. Does anyone know about the quality of TNW and if these semi-auto versions are reliable?

I had a semi 1919a4. Wont buy one again. I had nothing but problems with it and even had a peice of breass get lodged in my skin by it. Ouch. It was not a home build either. However, I am a freak occurance because over at www.1919a4.com those guys get theirs to work real well. As far as bump firing, not on a 1919. The trigger pull is upwards, not back. And if you get one, get a .308. 30-06 isnt worth it.

No need to bump a 1919 when you can crank it.

Was it a TNW build?

Or are you just venting?

Got my 1919a4 from ORF last March. Fun toy. Just make sure you check the headspacing before you take it out. Mine runs like a top and it's less of a drain on the bank account than some of the other manufacturers.

I built my own 1919.  Runs fine.

It's a fun gun to own if you have nothing else to do with your money.
