Heh, that's almost how bad my computer at work looked. It was something like 35% fragmented... I defragged and it still blows ass. I don't get how 1.6gHz can be so slow.
I don't get where the red went... usually, it turns into blue (unfragmented). Also, usually, the red is more spread out before you defrag. |

If you defragment your hard drive more often it won't have fragmented files.

Defragging will reclaim wasted space but not speed things up perceptabley.

Have you deleted a lot of things recently? When was the last time you defragged?
The only time I've seen anything similar was when I had a few virtual machines... but when I deleted them, all was good. |
