I'm going to La. this weekend to help clear brush and debris from my B I L s house and property.  The chance of an encounter with lowlife scum is minimal but possible. Should I wear a shoulder rig, dropleg, or hip carry. My derringer will be in my pocket as always but my G17 or 1911 will be available too.

Anybody ever do heavy physical work with their carry piece? I'll be "driving" my chainsaw most of the time and hauling brush.

Carry the Glock. If something happens and it gets beat to hell, you won't cry like if a good 1911 got kicked around.
