I don't know if this is the right forum? Where is a good source to get replacement foam for a Pelican type hard case?  The kind that you can cut out the shape of you rifle?  I searched the archives and no luck.
Thanks!

Try a local fabric store, for starters.

The Container Store has foam.

So does the lunch place near my work.  They try to pass it off as chicken.

I thought about a local craft/fabric store but I don't know if that foam is dense enough.  That chicken is probably cat (paw fried rice).

Spent hours on this research, you're welcome! Cheapest I've found on the net.

Why, at Foam By Mail .com of course!

Closed-cell foam is what I use.   Several thinner layers rather than one real thick one, each one in the middle can be cut out, rather than trying to hollow out a 3-D cavity.

I bought mine from Pelican (thru All Cases in Tampa).  For about $40. you get like 4 or 5 replacement pieces delivered in a nice box.

Yeah, it's a bit expensive, but it is a Pelican case with an AR-15 inside - its worth it.
