I saw a "Democratic Strategist" on the news who said when Bush left Crawford, Cindy should have moved shop to DC and protested at the WH.

She said Sheehan was getting "bad advice." Didn't hear the whole blurb, but the strategist clearly wasn't happy with this version of the Sheehan Shuffle.

Good point. Hillary is the mainstream media's savior. Attacking their idol is a great way for Sheehan to wind up being cut off.

You know what will push Sheehan over the edge for good? Being ignored.

ETA: As the spotlight begins to fade expect Sheehan to get shriller and angrier in a last ditch, desperate attempt to keep the media attention focused on her. Her fifteen minutes are already up, but she doesn't know it yet.

Sheehan was a vehicle that the looney lefties could use to attack Bush. Now that the hurricane showed up, they have an even bigger and better vehicle, and Sheehan doesn't matter anymore.

She said she was motivated not just by the grief caused by the death of her 24-year-old son Casey, a soldier killed in Baghdad in April 2004, but by an effort to save the world's children.
