As Hillary seeks to reinvent herself as a moderate liberal, I got thinking about who could be the next Republican president. Colorado Governor Bill Owens is the only logical choice. He is a Russian political expert, supports large tax cuts, has been instrumental in homeland security initiatives, supports innovative ways to pay for higher education, and is a general nice guy. His only failure has been not getting Ward Churchill fired.

You left out shitbag McCain. Sadly if the next Pres. is Rep. it will be him. McCain should do us a favor and switch partys that would really fuck with Hillary. As for CO. Governor I till this thread did not know who he was so I doubt it. Also you left out Condi Rice.

Same way with Frist most voters do not know who he is.

As a resident of Colorado, and a republican, I can only hope he is not the next president. He does not support tax cuts, and is actively supporting a ballot amendment that will increase taxes significantly for all Coloradoans.

Bottom line Bill Owens sucks!

Libertarian. Think Badnarik. I think the Gov. backed Nader last time. I would love to see Ron Paul run as a third party he would certainly sweep the gun owner vote, as Hillary, Rudy, and McCain have 0 NRA support.

He's a Rhino-lite. So he really may have a chance. But Hitlery would hand him his ass, and the Rep. Natl. Committee has got to know this. Overall, I don't think he's that impressive as a Presidential canidate. Cause he's not that impressive as a governor.

My mom met him in person. Bill Owens is not the sharpest guy.

During the last election, we couldn't find out how the local judges voted. The info was very hard to find. We were at a meeting where he was speaking, she had the oppurtunity to talk to him. She asked him what the judges political party lines were and he gave her a BS answer about all of them being great as he picked them. This was total BS as Roy Romer picked alot of them back when we had to put up with his Shit.
