Broiler, set on low, just a couple minutes, not alot of heat to worry about heating up the kitchen...

Now you've made me hungry. The only thing that is more addictive than garlic bread is a fairly rare desert called Sweedish tea ring.

Actually, crushing the garlic then nuking it in the butter works pretty well... cooking releases more garlic oil and infuses the butter.

Shmear it all over some fresh bread and YUM.

Thank God my wife likes garlic as much as I do.

Take a trip to Gilroy, CA during the Garlic Festival, and you can have everything garlic, from ice cream to soda.

I've had garlic drink (not carbonated).  My mom sometimes makes it when someone's sick.  Garlic juice with lemon and ginger.  It's actually not that bad.

Can't imagine garlic ice cream though.

Just made a batch last night to go with my spaghetti and meatballs...

Italian bread, butter, fresh garlic, salt and pepper, mozz cheeze inside (two slices of bread, kind of a garlic bread grilled cheese)

Outside...drizzle on olive oil, sprinkle with oregano and basil, do both sides...

Place in oven, under broiler, until crisp and light brown...mmmmmmm, good stuff....better than the spaghetti!
