Fun isn't it?  The 1st M16 I shot had a 11inch barrel.  It was pretty cool!  The first mg I ever shot was a Thompson smg.

i liked the M16 better than the rest. enjoyed the shoulder fired better than the tripod mounted. overall an excellent trip. also got to see tannerite in action for the first time, awesome. one other thing, i will NEVER worry about getting an AR barrel too hot again.

Yeah!  Hell, I'll bet bumpfiring a whole Beta-C would give me half a chubb.

I even have one loaded up, but haven't made time to do it yet.

200 round belt of tracers at night in a M60 beats a beta-C dump.

800 rounds through a M249. Awsome! That is almost worth staying in the mil for! As a side note the barrel was laid to rest the next day.

My father worked for an unnamed .gov agency and bought 37 M16's, 4 HK PDW's, and a few other items.
He called me out of the blue to go 'break them in' and test functionality.
We spent about 10 hours 15k rounds that day, on my 21st birthday no less.
One of the coolest times I spent with my father

The sad part is that once upon a time I used to wish we'd run out of ammo for the M60s so I could go home.

That wasn't the famous Maxim Machine Gun Days in Maine?

I always wanted to go to that. My Grandmother says that we are related to the Maxims some how.
