If your eyes follow the movement of the rotating pink dot, you will only see one color, pink.
If you stare at the black + in the center, the moving dot turns to green. Now, concentrate on the black + in the center of the picture. After a short period of time, all the pink dots will slowly disappear, and you will only see a green dot rotating. It's amazing how our brain works. There really is no green dot, and the pink ones really don't disappear. This should be proof enough, we don't always see what we think we see. |

Another good one is take a piece of paper and make two dots about 6" apart horizontally. (. .) Hold the paper very close, and focus on the left dot. Slowly move the paper away from your face. At some point the right dot will dissappear. Same goes if you look at the right dot, the left one wil vanish. This is because the dot will move into the blind spot in your retina where the optic nerve attaches. Cool huh?
Funny thing, I have gone partially blind on a couple of occasions. It's not very noticeable at first, but I soon realized that I could not see anything from about the one o'clock position all the way to the right (about 1/3 of my vision). There was no blackness, it simply wasn't there. Vision returned a little while later. Very strange. I'll bet the CIA had something to do with it.

Stare at the four black dots in the center of the image for 30 - 60 seconds.
Then quickly close your eyes and look at something bright (like a lamp or a window with sunlight coming through it). You should see a white circle with an image inside it.
