I would like to wish you all a Happy Constitution Day!!

But of course, that does not include the 2nd Amendment. Sorry.

You know-It gets so tiring arguing with gun haters. They will even agree with you that the Bill of Rights are a collection of individual rights-but not the 2nd one. What is their problem? Do they think the framers just threw a collective right in with a bunch of individual rights?

The Militia has nothing to do with the NG. If you read other amendments, you will clearly see that the militia was meant TO BE KEPT SEPERATE FROM THE ARMED FORCES!!! ". . . . . .In all cases arising out of the land or naval forces, OR THE MILITIA. . . . ." (5th Amend.)

Don't they see the seperation which was intended? How can they not see that?

To find the real Constitutional experts, just go quoting the Constitution itself. Whoever gives you the deer in the headlight look doesn't think there's a Constitution past the BoR.
And that applies to both sides.
