No, I don't really care for a washed up dope smoker liberal.

I saw him at a Country bar in Columbia, MO about 7 years ago.  It was pretty good.

+1.   I saw him back when I was 18 and before I got in to following politics.  I always knew I'd be a replublican based on how I was raised and what I value.  I do think of him differently now, but still like his music.  I just wish he and everyone else would keep their mouth shut.

I really like the new Nine Inch Nails cd too, (I listen to a wide variety of music!) and hate their political views.

Do I like Willy Nelson?

Not particularly.

Do I like his music?

Yes. Especially if he isn't singing it.

He's been a great influence in country music for almost 50 yrs. now. At certain points in his career he could sing fairly well. Just seems the last few years his singing has gotten....well...rotten.

Review:

Wasn't overly as impressed as I was when I saw him a few years back.  The songs didn't sound exactly the same..  The words were the same but the timing and pitch was off.

Also.  He said that 2 of the band members were his boys.  I don't know if they're really his kids or not, but the guitar player was pretty good.

For a hippie, he's pretty cool. I'd have to rate Willie in the top 5% of known hippies. That said, he's still a hippie. But I do like some of his music.

But if given a choice, I'll stick with my boys......Montgomery Gentry.
