I need a new knife

My made in chine switchblade isnt doing that great anymore spring getting wore and blade needs another sharpening.

What is a good and somewhat affordable knife to slice and stab things for daily use?

Looking for a standard blade, lockback/switchblade

The Carson flipper is as good as any switchblade, and legal to boot. Go for the big dog!

+1 on the M16 CRKT

Aptly named, the knive is more function over form... not the smoothest bodied pocket knive out there,
needs occassional cleaning, and not terribly abmidexterous, but is tough as nails and gets the job done!

I love mine, and wouldn't hestitate to get another if needed.

Spyderco Endura or Delica in VG-10 steel is an awesome knife for the $$$.

The Spyderco Military and Manix are both high end, hard use knives. Both can be found for around $100 and they are well worth it.

Check Ebay first.

Then places like One Stop Knife Shop, New Graham Knives, and 888 KnivesRUs.

i have a SOG flash 2 that i carry and i love it. i has the assisted open which makes it even better. i got it off of ebay for around $50. great knife.

SOG makes great assisted openers , but I really like my kershaw Blur. If assisted open is legal in your state , check 1 out. My Blur is faster than my friends Benchmade auto knife. Benchmade also makes great knives too.

I'm rather fond of my Smith and Wesson SWAT (Fits my hand really well, good sized blade, opens very quickly even without a spring assist), but currently what goes into my pocket is a CRKT Stiff KISS. It's a fixed blade, very slim, very slim sheath, and it comes out of your pocket ready to go to work. And best of all, it should be less than 40 bucks (mine was 26 at Sunny's Surplus six or so years ago).

This is my third CRKT knife, last Christmas I bought them for my brother, my Dad and both my Uncles.

Well looked at every knife at the gunshow, the only recon they had was too long for my usem wouldnt fit right in my pocket. Didnt see much else in selection other then a few assist opens that I could see cutting me when I open them.
