Okay.

Two-hundred twenty-third post.  Figured i'd waste it on my own topic.

Since i'm sitting here, drinking whiskey and coke, i'd like to know what some of you folks like to drink?

If it's a mix that's not common, what's in it?

Coca-Cola. Sometimes I get crazy and go with the Vanilla Coke, or the Cherry Coke.

as far as soda goes, I only drink Dr. Pepper, nothing else.

but for liquor, my favorite is Cognac.  Jacn & Coke is pretty good too.

I also will make a southern belle every now and then (1/2 root beer, 1/2 southern comfort).  I use the henry weinhards root beer to make those though, not the cheap stuff.

... Weeknights, it's pretty much water or iced tea (unsweetened)

... Weekends? Why heck, "the bar is open"

... In that vein, I'm tapping a keg this Saturday after some minor work is complete on my mountain property up north. About a dozen AZ HTF folks are coming up. Everyone is welcome though. IM me if you think you can make it.

Absolute favorite is Pepsi, out of a can over ice in a glass (made of glass).  The glass must be rinsed out first and the ice must be rinsed off also before the Pepsi is poured over it.

The sensation of that very first drink when the bubbles tickle my nose is one of the finest simple pleasures of life.

Kokanee most of the time.

Excellent bourbon.  A little much for me financially, so I go with Evan Williams on the rocks with half a Key Lime.  More taste, much less money.

For nonBourbon drinking, I prefer something I make about once a month in the kitchen.  It involves three cans of propane and a mash, mixed with a little Trader Joe's fresh squeezed tangerine juice, and I'll leave it at that.

I'm jealous (good green tea is HARD to find in the states ). You CAN, just not easy is all.

It's choc FULL of anti-oxidants called polyphenols. One of them called EGCG has 20 times the free-radical quenching effect of Vitamin E, and 500 times the effect of vitamin C. So yes, it's good stuff. Trying to keep my grandparents ON GT and OFF of (so much) coffee. (Everything in moderation).
