Thanks for the welcome. My first junior gun-nut should be popping out early february, then I get to dodge diaper duty for a year and go taliban hunting instead. Great forum from what I've seen so far!

Hey SRM, I wish they'd move us back to Colorado. The only mountains near Drum are the mountains of flesh that hit on the dumb privates at the bar.

In the late 80's, I was a property manager for a large corporation. We had some troops from Bragg show up asking if they could use some of our property. Seems the snipers thought it might be handy to have zeros at 500-2000 yds at 11,000 feet. If Hale were still open, they could have had pit service at 600 and 9500 elev.
Some of the Fort Carson group trains up here on occasion as well. SRM |
