I actually want to paint a Hogue stock for my 10/22 but have heard that the paint will not stick to the rubber. Just wondering what you guys think and if you have tried to paint your Hogue grips and what type of success you have had?
Thanks
Any suggestions on other synthetic stocks that look similar to the Hogue stock for the 10/22?

You might try vinyl dye that is sold at auto supply stores to dye dashboards and such. It works great on all kinds of plastics, and really sticks well, and wears well too..
