Earlier in the spring, I posted a poll that asked you people, "How high will gas prices go this summer?"

I was predicting $3.50 a gallon, and numerous people kind of snapped at me over my dire views.

Looks like they weren't too far off. The highest number of respondents claimed $2.50 was as high as it would go.

I just put $33 into the tank of a Ford Focus today, and it was 1/8th full when I pulled up to the pump.

So I ask again, "How High Will It Go?"

A better question would be; "Who gives a shit?". Are you going to stop buying gasoline?

Not unless my boss, who wants me to visit the stores we vend to, lets me stay at Casa Del Samsong WHILE paying me my lofty salary.

Seeing as it's nearly end of the summer, I don't think prices will go as high as $3.50 again, unless another crisis pops up. I expect $2.75 - $3.00 for awhile. This is actually good, in my book, as maybe it'll encourage people to be a little more efficient and drive less (some may get more efficient vehicles too).
