I am so infuriated with so many whining and complaining about primarily all of this crap going on with the Katrina aftermath - the free handouts to people who have been getting free handouts all of thier lives.

You're right - IT IS A DISGRACE AND ONE STEP CLOSER TO THE SOCIALISTIC SOCIETY THAT THE LEFT WOULD HAVE US REGRESS TO

So get off of ARFCOM and lets start writing and calling the Red Cross www.redcross.org/where/where.html, our senators www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm, FEMA www.fema.gov/regions/ix/reg9_contact.shtm, your local news mediums, and those empowered who need to hear what the rest of law-abiding, tax-paying, self-fending American people refuse to allow ANYMORE.

Yes, but make sure that you don't mention any 'trends' amongst those doing the advantage taking lest you be labeled as an insensitive, 'ignorant' racist.

We live in a society where the truth is secondary to peoples 'feelings'.
We also live in a society where objective and reasonable thought is forsaken in favor of anomaly seeking.

One of the terrorists on 9/11 had a cousin who knew a guy who had a sister who was married to a Christian, so we can't say anything about 'Muslims' being terrorists.

A white guy was seen taking a loaf of bread off Canal street, so we really shouldn't say that blacks are doing any looting.

If there is anything to be disgusted about, it's that.
There will always be welfareites. The problem is that the idiots amongst us expect everyone to walk on eggshells and ignore basic truisms because it's 'offensive' to their little, perfect worlds. They will resort to the most isolated anecdotal extremes to justify their own stupidity and expect everyone to digest it.
THAT'S what pisses me off.
That such people can't be legally herded onto barges and sunk.
That would really benefit society far more than their 'protection' of peoples sensibilities ever will.

I didn't get one.

And I don't recall ANYONE in Homestead (ground zero) that got one. I know my relatives in Homestead didn't get one.

same here, Im tired of my tax money being used to feed, cloth and sustain lazy people who refuse to get off their lazy asses and get a job. I think welfare and food stamps should be available for only ONE kind of people, Those who have some medical condition or handicap that prevents them from being able to work a job. Anyone else? TFB get off of your lazy ass and a job or eat grass and like it, cause im sick and tired of paying your way through life.
