well it seems pretty obvious that no one in command at FEMA took disaster prepartaion seriosly. and now im really wondering if this attitude goes all the way to the top of the dept. homeland security. what the hell have these people been doing with the billions of dollars every year. a disaster that has been predicted and simulated for years comes along and its as if no one ever considered what would be involved.

is there confidence that HSD could deal with any type of unique disaster or terror attack? chertow seems clueless as well and i cant imagine he has hired some groundbreaking planners. if something were to occur on a large scale...i can't see how the results would be any differnt then they are now.
