I just got off the phone with Sen. Larry Craig's office. The lady who answered it hadn't heard about the design and seemed genuinely shocked. I am emailing some of the above links to her and to my other congressman. I respectfully request that others contact their representatives as well. An email with copies of the design and the Ethopian flag may have some impact. Craig sits on the public lands committee but I frankly don't know who sits on the committee overseeing National Park Service.

It seems clear to me that we've LOST the War On Terror, and this is the inevitable result.
I was concerned that we were going to lose this war when GWB first announced that the Afganistan Operation was to be called "Operation Infinite Justice", and then the durkas complained that "only allah can dispense infinite justice" and GWB pulled back the name and came up with something more politically correct.
