My wife found this caterpillar in our yard. Internet search inconclusive. At first I thought it might be a spicebush swallowtail caterpillar, but wrong color? Anyway, thanks in advance:

It appears to be spicebush swallowtail caterpillar they can be that color

remember, their color can reflec their diet. That one's been eating a pumpkin, a carrot, or perhaps some orange shit.

You guys are right! I found a site on the web that had a photo of an orange one. Green is apparently most common, orange much less so.
