New Orleans, LA -- Jesse Jackson announced today that the name of Hurricane Katrina is racially insensitive. Rev Jackson has suggested a name more Afro-centric since the Hurricane hit an area with a majority of African Americans.

"I do believe racism played a large part in the naming of this superendous hurricane" Jackson said.
He went on to give his suggestion on a more African sounding name of Kizuwanda.
