I have a F150.  It came with Goodyear Wrangler AS/Ts, which have worn well and been decent tires.  They are about worn out.  Most of my driving is city driving with some highway and offroad, but this fall I am going to be doing a lot of driving on really crappy dirt roads, probably with lots of snow and mud.  Can anyone reccommend a good tire that would perform well in those conditions, but not be completely out of place on the highway?

My mechanic sells Bridgestone and he reccommended the Revo.

Thanks.

Not too many choices out there.  I have a F150 with 17" and trying to find a decent tire is a pain.  I did find a real cheap semi-A/T made by NITTO.  Discount Tire.  It's not very aggressive but might work.

My factory tires squeel a lot on the road and I hate it.

I have the bridgestone Dueler REVOS on my truck, and they are awesome tires. Nitto Terra-Grapplers are awesome as well, my brother has them on his truck.

Get a 10 ply or equivalent tire.  TOYO and Coopers have been recommended to me by folks who use the on hard use oil field company trucks.  I have TOYO tires, no complaints.

I have the Bridgestone Duelers, not the Revos, great tire, about $40 less per tire than the Revo, great traction offroad in dirt and snot(snow) and quiet on the highway to boot.  First set I had lasted 50k+ miles, so I bought another set.

I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers, size 265/60-17 on my Ram and they're a great tire.  Especially @ $112 a piece from Discount Tire Direct.

bfg at's or procomp at's.  i personally prefer the procomps.  ive had both, and these stick to the ground better on hard turns.
